CCRS for School Leaders
Standard 2: Teaching & Learning

The purpose of this 30-day professional study is to create more effective leaders who will impact schools and districts positively by delving into Alabama's College- and Career-Readiness (CCRS) Standards. School leaders must remain aware of the issues surrounding the Alabama CCRS. This includes the facts and opinions that both support and refute the standards. You will be able to formulate and define your personal opinions of the CCRS through research as well as explore opposing viewpoints.

-You must hold instructional leader certification.
-You must have access to a computer with internet connection.
-You must have a Canvas account

-You must complete online assignments via Canvas.
-You must respond to discussion questions.
-You must create presentations using multimedia.

This entire PLU will be online and will not require any face-to-face meetings. Assignments and quizzes will be posted to Learning Little People's eLearning PLU Group in Canvas. After enrolling in the Canvas class, you will have up to 30 days to complete each post's requirements. After successful completion of this professional study's components, you will receive one (1) PLU. This professional study will be offered up to 3 years.
