The purpose of this professional study of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey

is to create more effective leaders who will impact schools and student achievement positively by utilizing the tools of the 7 habits to collaborate, improve relationships, improve personal productivity, guide instructional improvement, lead progressive changes in the school, and motivate students, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders. (You will receive a copy of the book & an LLP reflection journal.)

In addition to your attendance to weekly workshops, you will reflect through journal writing and online blogging in response to discussion questions.

  -You must attend, participate in, & complete 3 full-day face-to-face training sessions over the course of 3 weeks.
  -You must respond to discussion questions and weekly blogs.
  -You must complete ongoing professional reading and journal reflections.

Each session for this PLU will be held in or near Birmingham. After successful completion of this professional study, participants will receive one (1) PLU. This professional study will be offered up to 3 years.
